About My Speech Place

Established by our CEO and Founder Ingrid Owens-Gonzalez in the summer of 2022. My Speech Place is a private speech therapy firm born out of the dream to reach and support as many families as possible. To do that we rely on three core values our CCC's: Community, Connection, and Collaboration.

Ingrid Owens-Gonzalez

Welcome to My Speech Place! I am Ingrid, SLP & Owner. I have lived in New Mexico and practiced in New Mexico since 2011. I attended New Mexico State University and met my husband. He was born and raised in Farmington and after visiting the area over the years I fell in love! We decided to start our family here - in the Four Corners area.

I have a Bachelor's degree from New Mexico State University in Psychology with a double-major in Languages and Linguistics. I graduated with a Master's degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

I have been an SLP since the Fall of 2011. I have worked in the SNF setting, in Early Intervention, preschool, middle school, and with K-5 populations. I am currently expanding my clinical work in partnership with Lazy River Therapy Services LLC and seeing private clients locally!
